Registration FAQ'S

What age group / competition should my child play in ?



Will my child get to be in a team with their friends?

We understand that children like to play in a team with their friends and we do our best to honour requests, however the main criteria for team allocation will be based on the below in order of priority:

  • Club – What is best for the club

  • Team – What is best for the team

  • Player – All player requests

How do I register?

CLICK HERE to register, or visit – search for our Club, and then select the competition that you would like your child to play in, fill in your child’s details and payment information.  The whole process takes about 10 minutes.


What does it cost to play?

Fees range between $120 and $190 depending on the age group in which your child plays.  CLICK HERE to see our registration fee information and what’s included. 

What if I cannot afford to pay fees upfront?

We will make every effort to help your child participate and do not want financial hardship to be a barrier. 

If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact our Registrar at to discuss a payment plan. 

We are also a KidSport Club so please CLICK HERE to apply for your fees to be subsidised by the local Government. 

When do registrations open?

Registrations for the 2021-22 Season open on 1 August 2021.

Will the Club contact me and remind me to register?

YES! If your child has played with us last season, in any age group, you will receive a reminder from the Club via email. This email will let you know that registration is about to open and will give you the reminder you need!


When does the season start and finish?

This varies for different age groups, CLICK HERE to view our Season Calendar.

Is equipment provided?

All equipment (i.e. bats, pads, gloves, helmets) is provided in the following age groups – Junior Blast, Master Blast, Star Blast, Under 10, Under 11 Girls, Under 13 Girls. The one exception is protectors which is a personal piece of equipment that parents should invest in for their child.

What do I need to wear?

All players must wear a match shirt (long or short sleeved), white cricket pants, a hat (cap or broad brimmed hat) and sport shoes (preferably white).  We also have some optional club training clothes and other Club wear available.  Please CLICK HERE to see our uniforms page for more information on all items available and how to purchase.


Can my child play up an age group?

Each age group competition is restricted to players no more than 2 years under that age as at 30 June in the year the season commenced. The skills and abilities of the player may also need to be taken into account if you are looking for your child to play up an age group.  Please contact our Registrar at if you have any questions about this.

Do girls have to play Girls Only cricket?

No they do not. Girls can play in any junior (mixed) team or they can decide to play in a Girls Only competition. If girls do decide to play in a mixed competition, they may play up to 2 years below their age (note: this does not apply to Girls Only cricket).
