We hope that your child has had lots of fun playing cricket this season. If your child is keen to continue their cricket journey next season, you may be wondering about what age group they should be in.

What competition should my child play in next season?
Will my child get to be in a team with their friends?
Yes! We are completely fine with this. You just need to let us know, at the time of registration, who you would like to be in a team with. There is a place to enter this information when you register.
How do I register?
The simplest way to register is to visit playcricket.com.au – search for our Club, and then select the competition that you would like your child to play in. The whole process takes about 10 minutes.
When do registrations open?
We open our registrations for the 2019/2020 Season open on 20 July 2019.
Will the Club contact me and remind me to register?
YES! If you child has played with us this season, in any age group, you will receive a reminder from the Club via email about mid-year. This email will let you know that registration is about to open and will give you the reminder you need!
When does the season start and finish?
This varies for different age groups, but cricket season begins in October and ends in late February or early March. There are significant breaks over Christmas, New Year and the holiday period.
What does it cost to play?
Fees range between $120 and $190 depending on the age group in which your child plays.
Is equipment provided?
All equipment (i.e. bats, pads, gloves, helmets) is provided in the following age groups –Junior and Master Blast, Under 10, Under 13 Girls. The one exception is protectors which is a personal piece of equipment that parents should invest in for their child.
Can my child play up an age group?
Each age group competition is restricted to players no more than 2 years under that age as at 30 June in the year the season commenced. The skills and abilities of the player may also need to be taken into account if you are looking for your child to play up an age group.
Do girls have to play Girls Only cricket?
No they do not. Girls can play in any junior (mixed) team or they can decide to play in a Girls Only competition. If girls do decide to play in a mixed competition, the may play up to 2 years below their age (note: this does not apply to Girls Only cricket).
